Zebedee Management collaborated with the #RadicalBeautyProject in order to represent people with Down’s Syndrome and show what beautiful models they can be. Sadly, people’s views on Down Syndrome can be very prejudiced which is why this project came to be, to challenge these limiting beliefs.
The project celebrates the beauty, uniqueness and amazing abilities of those with Down Syndrome. The world of makeup and fashion needs to be brought into the modern day where we celebrate all people, this is why this project was so important.
Zebedee Management and the Radical Beauty Project have raised awareness to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st. Did you know that it’s on the 21st as people with Down Syndrome have 3 copies of chromosome 21 instead of 2?
These models are all stunning in their outer beauty and their inner beauty. They are so full of pure joy, you can’t help but smile!
“Show the world our children are the same as everyone else. They ARE able to achieve their goals in life.” – Yvonne Goldstein, Ellie’s mum
Too right! Ellie is absolutely stunning and purple is most definitely her colour. Down Syndrome doesn’t stop children and young people from achieving their dreams, so people shouldn’t think that it does!
“Being model is amazing. I feel proud and confident. I like looking good, smelling good, I like photos and catwalk. It’s important for my life, my future. It makes me happy, I love my life.” – says Nino Genua
