Look, there is no denying that when it comes to take out food, Pizza is always a great option. And if there is one name that springs to mind when you are looking to splash out on a decent takeaway, its Dominos.
Delivery pizza is loaded with cheese, dough, salt and pretty much all that is bad for us but boy is if tasty.
If yo have ever ordered from Dominos, you will be aware that as well as the pizza, you receive a little pot of dipping sauce. Or if you are a seasoned Dominos eater, you may even opt for the large dip pot.
Although there are a few choices when it comes to Dominos dips, the king of all the dips has to be the Garlic & Herb. Smother that all over a slice and you reach pizza perfection!
Well that’s all well and good but a recent discovery has gone viral this week after Dominos lovers are learning the calorie information about the Garlic & Herb dip.
The shocking truth is that a 100g tub contains an astonishing 675 calories.
To put that into perspective, the large pot of dip has more calories than TWO McDonald’s cheeseburgers and it’s more than a third of the daily recommended calorie intake for women.
‘Our Garlic & Herb Big Dip is great for sharing with family and friends, and we recommend each party size should serve at least four people,’ a Domino’s spokesperson has said.
They continue: ‘Single size pots are also available at 169 cals each. (Which is also still huge numbers considering how small the pot is).
‘We’re committed to providing transparent nutritional information on our website and via our app, to enable customers to make informed decisions.’
Fans of the pizza chain have been taking to Twitter to share their horror.

Although Dominos say that the 100g pot is designed to be shared between four people, most people can easily get through one of these bad boys on their own!
