Flat Earther Offers $100,000 For Proof That Earth Is Round… Now Refuses To Pay

here we go mood GIF

Have you heard of the Flat Earthers? Well, if not, they’re members of the Flat Earth Society… which is basically a society based on the belief that the Earth is actually, in fact,  flat, despite every piece of damning scientific evidence which proves that it is not.

Well, Flat Earthers may have not been up in the headlines so much recently, but never dear, I can promise you they are still around and spouting their ridiculous views, still ignoring all scientific evidence and still getting angry about pretty much everything on social media. Lucky us!

In fact, there’s even one particular Flat Earther out there (who goes by the name of Flat Out Hero) who has offered $100,000 (which, obviously, he 100% definitely has) to literally anyone who could offer him PROOF that the Earth isn’t flat (y’know, like all those millions of pieces of proof that are already out there but okay).

The video in question was captioned:

“It’s impossible, but don’t tell the globetards that! This is the final nail in the ball earth coffin, and I am happy to be the one to hammer it in!!!”

The video also saw him call out on person in particular, fellow YouTuber Wolfie6020 as he laid out grounds of his challenge.

So, what is this challenge exactly? Well, he requested that Wolfie use flight charts (which ‘only’ pilots can use) to navigate a plane from Point A to Point B and from Point B to Point C, before heading back home, all the while making sure that the exact same distance is flown between each point and that only 90 degreeturns are made…. soooooo easy right?

Well, no… it actually sounds freakin’ confusing to me, but Wolfie was pretty darn keen about it. So keen, in fact, that he actually took on this ridiculosuly sounding challenge… I guess he really wantd that 100k?

Anyway, during a video he posted back in October, which was aptly titled ‘This Flat Earther Owes Me $100,000’, Wolfie shared the exact flight path which 100% fit the requirements of Flat Out Hero’s challenge.

I mean it’s pretty simple, and fair, right? Someone sets a challenege, someone else completes it, so like, the guy who set the challenge basically has to give the guy who completed said challenge $100,000 right? What could go wrong?

I’ll tell you what can go wrong, the guy who initially set the challenege could keep finding more and more excuses for not paying the guy who completed it… even though he definitely, definitely has that money in the bank because, well, why would you pay it?

An example of this; turns out that Flat Out Hero didn’t actually intend to use the word ‘chart’ as a verb, so there’s one mistake.

He also apparently didn’t want electronic charts to be used (????), thus promted Wolfie to upload another video showing that his flight paths could still be mapped out on paper… even though paper flight charts have not existsed for many, many years.

Eventually, after seemingly looking over Wolfie’s plans, Flat Out Hero did admit that the YouTuber had managed to sucessfully plot out the route, however he didnt believe it was possible to actually fly it thus would not be paying out… because he STILL didn’t think it had been successfully proven that the Earth was, in fact, round. So… yeah, there’s that.

Unsurprisngly, there’s a whole bunch of people who’ve been watching this YouTube feud play out over the past few months, and they’ve suggested that, well, Flat Out Hero may not have the necessary cash to pay out afterall… I mean, CRAZY, right!?

I, personally can’t comment on Flat Out Hero’s personal financial status, how ever I am happy to say that the Earth is 100%, completely, utterly, undeniably… ROUND.
