Freaking people out who suffer from Trypophobia (fear of holes) during Halloween

Are you afraid of holes? If so, you may have something called trypophobia, that is, a fear of tiny clusters of holes on human flesh or objects. Yikes! Seems like we should all fear such a thing. Does this mean that they can’t play golf? That little ball has 336 tiny holes. I know, I counted them myself when I was a kid (before there was an internet search engine to ask, although now it tells me that it varies!) but at the time, I filled in each hole with some ink and counted all the holes on a golf ball. Perhaps I don’t have a fear of little holes, more like an obsession with tiny ones on a golf ball. Yep, those were the good old days.

However, trypophobia is probably not something that we should be making fun and normally we wouldn’t but all fears are exploited during the Halloween season and clearly, this one is no exception. With that said, here are a bunch of pictures that are sure to freak out all of those who suffer from trypophobia. Some of which are pretty gross and they make me wonder if I should be seeing a doctor to tame any fears that I develop after looking at some of these photos. A lot of work went into some of these acts to make it appear as if there are holes on someone’s hand and I have to wonder how we can be so cruel to each other but at the same time, let’s be glad that it only happens once a year. Check it out:

This look like it took some time to do.

Okay, it looks creepy.

This could ruin breakfast for me.

This lotus pod really freaks out those with trypophobia.

Yuck, a chest to scalp hair transplant. I’m afraid of this.

Injera (Ethiopian bread).  Hunger might cure this fear.

Never fear the bass!

A stingray.  This I may fear without the holes.

This woodpecker and his tree.
