Heartbroken Bride-To-Be Exposes Cheating Fiance By Reading His Texts Out At The Wedding

For young women, their wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of their lives. It’s a culmination of months of planning and preparation, as well as all the frogs you have to kiss before finding Prince Charming. But what if it turned out that he was a rat all along? Well, that’s exactly what happened to a young bride-to-be named Casey.

Casey thought that her fiancé-to-be, Alex, was the one. They had been together for 6 years, and finally decided to tie the know this year. But it would end in heartbreak, as she wrote in her tell-all post on the women-focused website Whimn.

The night before her wedding, Casey received a text that changed everything. Surrounded by her bridal party, she was bombarded with a series of screenshots from an unknown number, accompanied by a simple message that read, “I wouldn’t marry him. Will you?”

The screenshots in question were a variety of lewd conversations between Alex and another woman, including lewd selfies of the pair. The conversations dated back months, and went until just a couple of days until the planned wedding.

As you would imagine, Casey was absolutely crushed by this news. The man she loved obviously didn’t love her back, and had been making a fool of her behind her back for god knows how long. “How he could do this?”, she wondered.

Not only was Casey heartbroken, she was now faced with the prospect of what to do with the news – on the eve of her wedding. Her loyal friends said she should call him and call off the wedding, but Casey was too shocked to make a decision.

With people already flying from around the country for their wedding, Casey did not want to let them down. She decided to turn up at the church as planned – with one crucial difference.

“Every word like a dagger in my heart and my wedding was only hours away. How could I cancel when everyone had already traveled to be there and everything was paid for?”

As Casey approached the altar, the assembled crowd was none-the-wiser as to what was about to take place.

“I walked down the aisle with leaden feet, my dream dress now just a costume. As he saw my face he knew this was not an ecstatic woman on her big day, but he had no idea what was coming,” and neither did anybody else in the crowd.

Finally, she made her play.

“There will be no wedding today,” announced Casey, “It seems Alex is not who I thought he was.” She pulled out her phone hiding beneath her bouquet and began to read from the conversations Alex had with his fling:

“This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game.”

“Your body is f*cking incredible. And shit do you know how to use it. I wish my GF had half the skills you do.”

“I miss you so much. I can’t stop thinking about L, S, F’ing you. I’ve never had this kind of connection before.”

The brave bride-to-be stared at the colorless face of her ex-fiancé as she read out his words. He said nothing – he had been well-and-truly caught out. Speechless and dizzy, Alex ran out of the church.

Casey turned to speak to wedding audience: “I love all of you and as horrible as this is I’m glad you all are here. There will not be a wedding reception today, but instead, there will be a celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts.”

I can’t even imagine what Casey must have gone through on that day, and what she is likely still going through now. Still, when the dust has settled, I hope that she will take some comfort in the fact that she doesn’t have to spend the rest of her life with this unfaithful scumbag.
