After Samira made the decision to leave the villa this week, it has been revealed by partner Frankie that Love Island producers cut a steamy night of theirs in the hideaway from the show.
It emerged in yesterday’s episode that Samira Mighty had quit Love Island in order to continue the romance with her recently eliminated love interest Frankie Foster. In an interview with The Sun, however, rugby player Frankie said that things had already gone further with Samira than viewers were aware – because the show’s producers cut a major development in their relationship for time.
West End star Samira and Frankie were voted by their fellow islanders into the hideaway for a night, where things got taken to the next level. Said Frankie: “It was a big thing for me and Samira…it didn’t get shown for one reason or another. But yeah we did spend the night together.”
A spokesperson for the show has reassured fans it was no conspiracy, telling the Express that producers “can’t show everything that happens in the villa due to time constraints”. Instances where the islanders are caught eating or doing chores are also left out of the show.
Frankie told The Sun he intends to continue his romance with Samira now they are both free of the show: “I think we got stopped at a bit of a turning point and I think our relationship will continue and accelerate a bit faster in the outside world.”
