How Many Of Bon Jovi’s 13 Albums Did You Buy?

I remember being at school aged about 8, and some of the cool boys were singing a song from the charts that sounded absolutely amazing… It was something about ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’. I found out that the song was by a rock band called Bon Jovi, who to me at the time sounded like the coolest, heaviest, naughtiest, most brilliant rock band in the whole world.

Formed in 1983, Bon Jovi consisted of lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, keyboardist David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres, lead guitarist Phil X, and bassist Hugh McDonald. The band’s lineup has remained mostly the same over the years, with the only exceptions being the 1994 dismissal of bass player Alec John Such who was replaced by Hugh McDonald, and the departure of long time guitarist Richie Sambora in 2013.

Whether you’re a fan or not, growing up as a Child of The 1980’s you can’t have escaped the impact Bon Jovi had on the music world.
