Piers Morgan was humiliated recently by none other than Twitter war queen J.K. Rowling – the author baited Morgan into criticising his own article about Rowling, in which he described her as having “a greater impact on the world than most of the other names [on my list].”

Hmm. He really didn’t remember that he’d written it, did he? How embarrassing…

If this hilarity wasn’t enough, his Morgan’s soon stepped up to voice his own opinions. Spencer Morgan, 23, is a massive fan of Harry Potter. He tweeted this around the time that the feud began:

You guessed it: not only does he own the sign of the Deathly Hallows as a necklace, he also has the symbol tattooed on his arm. It’s one of the most obvious things he could have done to confirm himself as a complete Potterhead, second to tattooing a scar on his forehead and taking to dressing in Hogwarts robes.

Just to drive the point home, Spencer took to Twitter again to tweet this photo of himself standing outside Hogwarts with two other fanatics:

And then again to show us all a picture of him at Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and we all know how impossible that is to get tickets to!

“One more can’t hurt, can it?” He writes. And no, it really can’t. By all means, please continue.

After he was completely dragged to the highest degree by J.K. Rowling, Morgan had to eventually admit that his son had come up trumps in the Twitter battle.

Yikes! The fact that Piers considers this his son being a Potterhead his “biggest failure in 23 years of parenting” is just downright offensive. He’ll have to be careful – he might spark another Twitter war!

Luckily, Potter fans everywhere seem content with just having a giggle about Spencer’s quick comebacks instead.
