The Reason Kate Middleton Often Has Plasters On Her Hands

When you think of Kate Middleton, you probably immediately think of elegance, amazing clothes and generally pristine appearance.

The 34-year-old Dutchess of Cambridge has had a huge impact on the fashion world. Her perceived impact on British and American fashion has been called the “Kate Middleton effect” in the media. In 2012 and 2013, she was selected as one of the “100 Most Influential People in the World” by Time magazine.

So she must be totally perfect right? It would seem that The Dutchess of Cambridge is a little clumsy when it comes to picking up cuts and grazes. She is often seen pictured with plasters on her hands.

In fact as you look through past photographs of Kate out and about at functions, you can often see plasters (Band Aids if you are in the USA), on her hands, fingers and thumbs.

Back in November 2016, one of these pictures of Kate wearing a plaster hit the headlines. The Dutchess had been attending the world premiere in Mayfair of A Street Cat Named Bob. After the show, she met a cat that was part of the show and it was thought that it may have scratched her.
