Do you remember the original actress who played Lauren Branning in EastEnders? Well, here’s what she’s up to now!
Madeline Duggan joined the cast in 2006 when she was 12-years-old, where she played Max Branning’s oldest daughter for 4 years.
Despite being so young when she joined the popular soap, Madeline was an experienced actress before appearing on EastEnders. She appeared in a West End performance of ‘Les Miserables’ when she was 9-years-old and had a lead role in ‘Between Us’, a short 2005 film.
Madeline joined the soap at the same time as her on-screen sibling Abi Branning, played by Lorna Fitzgerald.
One of her more intense storylines was when she discovered Max and Stacey’s affair and went on to expose them in a 2007 Christmas special. She filmed them in the act on her video camera, and then put the footage onto a DVD, which she played for the entire family on Christmas day!
Then, in 2008, Lauren Branning got caught up in another whirlwind storyline when she was groomed by paedophile Tony King.
In 2010, Madeline left the show and was replaced by Jacquelina Jossa.
But what does Madeline look like now? What has she been up to since she left EastEnders?
