We may know the UK’s Royal Brothers William and Harry, and their two beautiful wives Kate and Meghan collectively as ‘The Fab Four’… however, it appears that the reality of their relationship may actually be more tumultuous than we are lead to believe.
And the fault may all be down to the stark differences between Duchess Kate and Duchess Meghan. The two sister-in-laws Kate and Meghan may seem to have many things in common on the surface of things, however, in reality, their ‘similarities’ could very well end at their own ties to the Royal Family.
Fans of the “Fab Four” (aka William, Kate, Harry and Meghan) have recently been torn apart by news which suggests that there may actually be some hostility brewing between our two favorite Royal couples. I know, right? Tragic.
According to a UK news outlet, there has in fact been “a falling-out” amongst the two famously close brothers William and Harry due to rising tensions between their wives (Gosh, always those darn wives isn’t it!?)
As more and more reports emerge of Meghan and Harry’s move from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage (which is more than a whole twenty miles away from their in-laws), the situation does not look rosy whatsoever. Royal Family fans have begun to wonder if the “big rift” between Meghan and Kate could be a consequence of their fundamental differences as individuals.
…Or, y’know, maybe Harry and Meghan just don’t want to live so close to their parents/in-laws? Which isn’t totally abnormal. ANYWAY… I digress…

1. Growing Pains
May as well start with the biggest and most crucial dissimilarity these two face I suppose, and that would be; the completely different upbringing.
Kate’s parent’s obviously belonged to the upper-middle-class ranks and themselves established a party supply business which they named ‘Party Pieces’ (and is also now estimated to be worth at least $53 million just FYI) way back in 1987. Kate also worked for the company briefly while she was first dating Prince William and stopped after she married him in 2011.
I think it’s safe to say that Kate’s family, including her parents Michael and Carol Middleton and her siblings Pippa and James, did not find it difficult to fit into the Britain’s elite society life whatsoever.

Today The Duchess of Cambridge visited @UCL’s Developmental Risk and Resilience Unit to see @UCLPALS’s work into how environment and biology interact to shape the way in which children develop both socially and emotionally. Her Royal Highness was shown @UCLPALS’s MRI Scanning Facility, and learned about their groundbreaking research on how early experience shapes brain function.
Whereas Meghan, dear Meghan, on the other hand, experienced far much more of a working-class childhood at her home in the US. Meghan did indeed have a comfortable and loving upbringing however her family’s dysfunctionality has certainly been highlighted these past few days.
