Now while being the focus of a rampant bidding war doesn’t seem like a particularly bad thing, especially when it means you’re going to star in a number of ‘big deal’ shows on daytime TV. However, according to sources close to the Scarlett Moffatt bidding craze, it’s a lot more hectic than we may have originally thought.
Earlier this month Scarlett was the most popular woman in the jungle, and now she’s the most sort after the woman in the television industry. It seems the country has a serve case of Scarlett fever!
Daytime TV giants such as This Morning and Loose Women are currently in a bidding more, trying to secure Scarlett as a presenter on the show.
The competition between the pair of them has gotten fierce over the past few weeks, as people have gone crazy over the ex Gogglebox star! We simply can’t get enough of her.
ITV are desperate to make Scarlett Moffatt a regular face on their network, but they only want her to commit to one show!
‘It’s not often that daytime shows on the same channel battle to secure a presenter,’ a source told The Daily Star.
‘This Morning want her for their popular showbiz slots alongside Rylan Clark and last year’s I’m A Celeb runner-up Ferne McCann. They know Scarlett will be hilarious and a hit with viewers.’
However, Loose Women are looking to give Scarlett Moffatt a permanent presenting spot on their ladies panel show in the hopes of attracting a new audience.
‘Loose Women are desperate to bag an exclusive deal as they know their audiences will relate to Scarlett as she’s so down to earth.
‘The show is going for a younger panel following the success of Katie Price and previous Loose Woman and reality star Vicky Pattison.’
Offers of big money have been thrown at Scarlett by Loose Women and This Morning in the hopes of tempting her with making a choice. Unfortunately, Scarlett is very keen on doing as many ITV shows as she can, so the Loose Woman exclusivity clause isn’t as tempting as the money they’re offering.
