Many people may believe that the Cadbury’s creme egg can’t be improved upon. It’s only ever come in one flavour and that one flavour has been great. The satisfaction of breaking into the hard chocolate shell and getting to that sweet inside makes the creme egg one of Cadbury’s best products.
Well, prepare to be amazed because Cadbury’s have outdone themselves. There’s a new creme egg flavour in town and it’s on sale in the UK.
It’s exactly what you’d expect – the same chunky chocolate shell but packed with delicious oreo insides.
#TBT / Please God bring these to the U.S.! Last year I sent a Canadian the Cinnamon Bun Oreos, and her return gift was 12 expertly packed Cadbury Oreo Eggs. These were an easy and convincing 10/10, even besting the new Reese’s Eggs I posted about the other day. Whose Oreo D do we have to suck to get these in the States? ?#AskingForAFriend #ImTheFriend
With the boom in oreo-flavoured products, it should come as no surprise that Cadbury creme eggs have gotten in on the hype. And it’s a hype for a reason. Because oreo-flavoured anything is freaking delicious.
Rather than the tinfoil wrapping that packages the traditional egg, this new flavour comes in a plastic cup that looks like a UFO, and presumably, it protects the eggs from cracking when they’re knocked about in stores.
While Canadians have been blessed with this chocolate miracle for over a year, but now they’re available in the UK too!
The bad news? The normal-sized oreo creme eggs are only available across the Atlantic. But, the mini-bag versions are out in stores now.
Go try them and let us know what you think!
