It may seem like a dream come true to be a famous celebrity, doesn’t it? Of course, it’s not for everybody – but I think it’s safe to say that for most people, especially these days, they can’t think of anything better than being famous and constantly being in the spotlight. Wouldn’t you agree?
But, of course, as one of my favorite authors, J. R. R. Tolkien once said; “All that is gold does not glitter”… which basically means that just because something looks great, doesn’t mean that it is. Come on – just think about it… you’re in the spotlight ALL. THE. TIME.
And of course, let’s not forget celebrities greatest enemy of all time; Aging. It’s no secret that youth a big part of being famous… at least, it seems to be that way anyway, especially if you’re a young, female model and/or actress. Hollywood is not kind to you.
And so what do they do? They turn to Dr. Plastic Surgery in hope of having a magic wand waved over their aging corpses and be able to turn back time by at least 10 years. Sometimes, it can work… briefly. But more often than not it becomes completely addicting and the results of this particular addiction can be absolutely disastrous.
And these celebrities I have very kindly listed below for you learned that lesson the (incredibly) hard way.
1. Heidi Montag
I won’t lie to you folks, I don’t know a lot about Heidi Montag. I know she was part of a show called The Hills, and I know she married some tool named Spencer. Oh, and apparently she’s just had a baby? Who knows.
What I DO know about Heidi Montag, however, is that she has had a TON of surgery… despite looking like Britney Spears when she first released Hit Me Baby One More Time aka America’s Sweetheart. She doesn’t exactly look terrible… but the difference is incredibly drastic.
