This Bus Shelter Provides Beds And Blankets For Stray Dogs

Most of you reading this will have a dog, or have a friend who has a dog, that you absolutely love and is the most precious and adorable little buddy you could ever ask for... But now that winter is approaching, I can't help but think about all of the abandoned puppers out there left alone without food or shelter.

However, don't get too sad too quick, because there is hope. A bus shelter in Brazil has thought of a genius, simple way to give stray dogs protection from the outside world on these upcoming cold winter nights.

The Barreirinha bus terminal in the city of Curitiba opened up their doors and provided beds and blankets for their new furry friends, who they named Max, Pitoco and Zoinho.

A local politician named Fabiane Rosa saw the act of kindness and was quick to share photos of the adorable pups to her Facebook page, and of course, they went viral! Because again, who doesn't love dogs?

Rosa credited the Barreirinha bus station for their selfless act, which we hope can strike up a movement of helping defenseless dogs in need.

She wrote (translated from Portuguese): "Congratulations to the terminal staff, everyone understands that these angels are there and have a right to be. So many companies in Curitiba could follow this example, adopting a pet. Of course it is not the ideal, but at least there are those who are looking after them.”

And she's not wrong - it's so easy to help out even in the smallest way, like putting down a spare towel or old blanket you have laying around to keep these poor animals warm in the unforgiving winter nights.

I think we should all keep in mind how easy and rewarding it is to do something kind for another being, and start taking action!

Just look at that face!!
