Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves’ seemingly perpetual youthfulness is so striking that there’s even a joking theory that he’s immortal. In addition to the fact that Reeves looks pretty much exactly the same as when he started his acting career, there are also a number of portraits of historical figures that bear a suspicious resemblance to the John Wick star.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Credits: MJ Kim / Monica Schipper via Getty

While Gwyneth Paltrow’s wellness brand Goop has repeatedly been accused of peddling junk, the actress can at least point to the fact that she doesn’t appear to have aged in the last 20 years as evidence that her products work. Whether that’s down to Goop’s face creams or just good genetics is debatable, but Paltrow does look undeniably radiant.

John Stamos

Credits: Evan Agostini / Michael Tullberg via Getty

In a 2016 interview with GQ, John Stamos was asked how he’s managed to stay looking so youthful, despite being well into his 50s. The actor replied that – on his 18th birthday – he sold his soul to Satan in exchange for eternal youth. Looking at photos of the veteran actor, we’re pretty sure he was being serious.

Lisa Bonet

If you didn’t know better, you’d probably assume that Lisa Bonet is Zoë Kravitz’s sister, rather than her mother. Bonet credits her youthful appearance to the liberal use of coconut oil, although she’s also admitted to working with expert dermatologists Dayle Berault and Rhonda Allison, so that probably helps.

William Shatner

Credits: Ethan Miller / Michael Loccisano via Getty

William Shatner obviously looks a lot older than he did when he starred in the Star Trek TV show – he is 92, after all – but he does seem to have stopped aging sometime during the early 2000s. In 2021, Shatner joined Jeff Bezos on a Blue Origin spaceflight, becoming the oldest person to have been in space.

Paul Rudd

Credits: Kevin Winter / Jeff Spicer via Getty

Paul Rudd’s youthfulness isn’t confined to his famously exuberant personality. The actor – who rose to prominence with a starring role in the 90s movie Clueless – looks pretty much the same today as he did when he first started acting, and fans are still repeatedly shocked to learn that Rudd is 55 years old.

Daniel Dae Kim

Credits: Frederick M. Brown / Monica Schipper via Getty

Daniel Dae Kim was 37 years old when he became a household name with a starring role in the TV show Lost. Kim already looked good for his age then, and time has done nothing to change that. Despite the fact that 19 years have elapsed, the actor looks almost exactly the same.

Bianca Lawson

Credits: Stephen Lovekin / Momodu Mansaray via Getty

For proof of Bianca Lawson’s eternal youthfulness, consider the fact that she convincingly played a high-schooler in two different TV shows with a 12 year gap between them. In fact, when you compare pictures of Lawson now versus at the start of her career, you get the unnerving impression that the actress is aging backwards.

Beyoncé

Credits: Scott Gries / Gareth Cattermole via Getty

Beyoncé wasn’t even legally allowed to drink when she skyrocketed to fame as part of Destiny’s Child. Now arguably the greatest female pop star of all time and the proud mother of three children, Beyoncé looks almost exactly the same as she did at 19. Not bad!

Jay-Z

Credits: Brad Barket / Rich Fury via Getty

Beyoncé has clearly shared her secrets for remaining youthful with her husband, rapper and music mogul Jay-Z. Like his wife, Jay- Z, who is the first hip hop artist to have attained billionaire status, rose to prominence in the 90s. Shortly after that, he appears to have stopped ageing. Good for him!

Mila Kunis

Credits: Stephen Shugerman / Tommaso Boddi via Getty

Best-known for portraying Jackie Burkart in That ‘70s Show and voicing Meg Griffin in Family Guy, Mila Kunis basically hasn’t aged since the turn of the century. The actress – who is now 40 years old – is married to Ashton Kutcher, with the pair meeting during their time starring together on That ‘70s Show. Both still look inexplicably youthful.

Avril Lavigne

Credits: Scott Wintrow / Jamie McCarthy via Getty

Avril Lavigne was 16 years old when she signed her first major label deal, and her debut album – 2002’s Let Go – remains the best-selling album of the 21st century by a Canadian artist. These days, Lavigne is 39 years old, still making waves in the music industry, and looking like a woman half her age.

Usher

Credits: Evan Agostini / Ethan Miller via Getty

After self-releasing his debut album in 1994, Usher skyrocketed to fame when his second album – titled My Way – was released in 1997. More than two decades later, Usher is still one of the biggest names in R&B, and he also looks like he hasn’t aged since the start of his career.

Pharrell Williams

Credits: David Livingston / Pascal Le Segretain via Getty

It’s not an exaggeration to say that Pharrell Williams looks like he hasn’t aged since 2005. The singer, rapper, and music producer got his start in showbiz as one-half of The Neptunes, before embarking on a solo career that has seen him scoop up 13 Grammys and collaborate with some of the most iconic musicians ever.

Holly Willoughby

Credits: MJ Kim / Jeff Spicer via Getty

Starting out as a model in the early 2000s, Holly Willoughby soon branched out into television, and she’s been hosting Good Morning Britain since 2009. Fans of the show routinely comment on the fact that Willoughby – who also co-presented Dancing on Ice for a number of years – doesn’t seem to have aged at all during her 14-year run as presenter.

Rihanna

Credits: Mark Mainz / Frazer Harrison via Getty

Barbadian superstar Rihanna was just 17 years old when her debut album – titled Music of the Sun – sold an impressive two million copies. Since then, Rihanna has become one of the most successful female artists of all time, a fashion and beauty mogul, and – to top it off – she hasn’t aged a day.

Angelina Jolie

In addition to being one of the world’s most sought-after actresses, Angelina Jolie is also the mother of six children and a dedicated humanitarian. Despite all of the stresses and strains that must accompany her hectic lifestyle, Jolie has managed to remain looking remarkably young, looking scarcely a day older than when she first become famous.

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue has been topping the charts for over three decades, and she is officially the best-selling female Australian artist of all time. Minogue actually got her entrance to showbiz with a role on the Australian soap Home and Away, and looking at old clips makes it apparent that she’s aged incredibly well.

Adam Levine

Credits: Amanda Edwards / Kevin Winter via Getty

The frontman of Maroon 5, Adam Levine looks much the same at 44 as he did at 20. As well as his highly successful music career, Levine has also branched out into reality TV, appearing as a judge on The Voice for 16 of the show’s seasons.

Halle Berry

Credits: Lisa Lake / Jerod Harris via Getty

At 57 years of age, Halle Berry is still a bona fide Hollywood bombshell. The actress – who remains the only Black woman to have won an Academy Award for Best Actress – has publicly stated that she stays in great shape by following a strict exercise regimen based on boxing.

Reese Witherspoon

Credits: Evan Agostini / Leon Bennett via Getty

While she appeared in a number of TV shows and films in the late 90s, Reese Witherspoon wouldn’t hit the big time until she landed the starring role in 2001’s Legally Blonde. Despite the fact that more than 20 years have passed since then, Witherspoon still looks almost exactly the same as she did in the film.

Will Smith

Credits: Sean Gallup / Matt Winkelmeyer via Getty

While he doesn’t look quite as fresh-faced as he did when he was starring on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Will Smith does seem to have halted the aging process sometime around the early 2000s. Despite his youthful appearance, however, Smith has the gravitas to pull off older roles, as evidenced by his Oscar-winning turn in 2021’s King Richard.

Jennifer Aniston

Credits: Kevin Winter / Frazer Harrison via Getty

In contrast to Rachel Greene – the character she played on the hit sitcom Friends – Jennifer Aniston is adamant about not getting plastic surgery, criticizing other celebs for trying to “turn back the clock.” That said, the actress clearly doesn’t need cosmetic assistance, as she still has the face of a 30-year-old, despite being in her mid-50s.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Credits: Kevin Winter / Steve Jennings via Getty

Joseph Gordon-Levitt got into Hollywood as a child, with his big break coming at the age of 20 with a starring role in 2001’s Manic. Over two decades later, and with some of the most prestigious awards showbiz has to offer under his belt, Gordon-Levitt looks like he’s barely aged.

Jennifer Lopez

Credits: Paul Hawthorne / Paul Morigi via Getty

Jennifer Lopez turned 54 on July 24th, 2023, but the singer looks pretty much the same as she did when she burst onto the scene with Jenny From the Block in 2002. J-Lo credits her youthfulness to her rigorous exercise regimen, which often involves multiple workouts per day.

John Legend

Credits: Scott Gries / Lisa Lake via Getty

John Legend is another celebrity who genuinely seems to be aging backwards. After getting his start working on music for artists including Jay-Z and Lauryn Hill, Legend got his big break with the release of his album Get Lifted. That was almost 20 years ago, although you’d never know that from looking at pictures of Legend then and now.

Jared Leto

Credits: David Livingston / Rich Polk via Getty

After a successful run as the frontman of 30 Seconds to Mars, Jared Leto made the jump to Hollywood, landing a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in 2013’s Dallas Buyers Club. Leto’s looks have also landed him a number of modeling gigs, and – fortunately for him – they don’t show any signs of fading.

Elijah Wood

The One Ring is said to confer unnaturally long life to anyone who wears it, and Elijah Wood is seemingly no exception (even if the one he wore in The Lord of the Rings trilogy was just a prop). The actor – who is now into his 40s – still looks spookily similar to when he first got his Hollywood break at the age of 20.

Mario Lopez

Credits: Stephen Shugerman / Alberto E. Rodriguez via Getty

In 2020, Mario Lopez reprised his role as A.C. Slater in the Saved by the Bell revival. Although his character is supposed to have aged 26 years since the original show, Lopez’ looks almost exactly the same as he did when Saved by the Bell first aired in 1989.

Sandra Bullock

Credits: Evan Agostini / Frazer Harrison via Getty

Sandra Bullock is one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars, and her career has spanned three decades. Although she’s now just-shy of 60, Bullock looks literally half her age, which the actress credits to the fact that she works out at least six times a week.

Eva Mendes

Credits: Evan Agostini / Angela Weiss via Getty

Although Eva Mendes began her career with roles in films like Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror, it didn’t take long for her to graduate to Hollywood blockbusters. The actress has become a staple of the Fast and Furious franchise, and watching the movies in order makes it apparent quite how little she’s aged in the last few decades.

Gabrielle Union

Credits: Mark Mainz / Noam Galai via Getty

You could easily be forgiven for thinking that these photos of Gabrielle Union were taken the same year. Astonishingly, however, they were taken more than 20 years apart. Fans of Union – who came to prominence in the 90s with roles in a string of sitcoms – are generally shocked to learn that she’s 50 years old.

Snoop Dogg

If it wasn’t for the fact that Snoop Dogg’s locs have slightly greyed, the rapper could easily be mistaken for a man half his age. While no one seems to have publicly asked Snoop how he manages to stay looking so youthful, we’re pretty sure we know what he’d attribute it to.

Kiera Knightley

Credits: MJ Kim / Roy Rochlin via Getty

Kiera Knightley was just 18 years old when she landed her breakout role in 2003’s Pirates of the Caribbean. Although 20 years have passed since then, you’d never guess it by looking at the actress. In a 2018 interview with Vogue, Knightley revealed that she avoids using products on her skin as much as possible, which helps prevent premature aging.

Liv Tyler

Credits: Peter Kramer / Rich Fury via Getty

Much like her Lord of the Rings costar Elijah Wood, Liv Tyler seems to have been blessed with eternal youth. Tyler – who is the daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler – started modeling at the age of 14 before getting into acting, and she’s also served as the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for the United States since 2003.

Andrew Garfield

Credits: Michael Loccisano / Stuart C. Wilson via Getty

While Andrew Garfield does look somewhat older now than he did at the start of his career, that’s mostly because he’s taken to sporting a beard these days. Shave that off, and Garfield would look almost as fresh-faced as he was when he broke through in 2005 with a role in the British TV show Sugar Rush.

Idris Elba

Credits: Pascal Le Segretain / Jeff Spicer via Getty

Aside from a few flecks of grey in his beard, Idris Elba looks pretty much the same as he did 20 years ago. Elba is one of the most successful British actors of all time, and in recent years he’s also been exploring music, rapping alongside a number of hip-hop stars and DJing at major festivals.

Gwen Stefani

Credits: Ethan Miller / Emma McIntyre via Getty

Gwen Stefani was just 22 years old when her band No Doubt scored a major record deal. Four years later, the group released their album Tragic Kingdom, which propelled Stefani to superstar status. Although she’s now 54 years old, Stefani still looks much like she did during the early years of her career, though she’s stopped sporting backward baseball caps.

Rob Lowe

Credits: MJ Kim / Jamie Squire via Getty

He might be 59 years old, but Rob Lowe still looks almost as youthful as when he broke through in 1999 with a role in The West Wing. In addition to his highly successful acting career, Lowe fills his time with philanthropy, and he’s one of the few male spokespersons for breast cancer awareness.

Owen Wilson

Credits: Jamie McCarthy / Tommaso Boddi via Getty

A member of the Frat Pack – the nickname given to a group of the most successful comedy actors in Hollywood – Owen Wilson is also no slouch when it comes to drama, and he’s a collaborator of acclaimed director Wes Anderson. While other members of the Frat Pack have all visibly aged, Wilson has managed to remain fresh-faced and youthful.
