If you have ever traveled by air, you know how much fun and tiring it is, at the same time. As much as we love to fly to our destination by air, waiting at the airport terminal can be exhausting. Some people have have rough days than others. We have proof of how draining it can be. Here are some really funny airport waiting moments that many of us will relate to. Check them out!
Lots of Adjustment
Waiting at the airport and traveling from one place to another brings along a lot of unusual conditions with it that we have to adjust to. It can be a change in weather conditions, delays in flights, security baggage waiting, or a long queue of immigration checks. You might be traveling in your summer overalls but when you reach the destination, you might have to cover up a little because of weather conditions – you never know. It’s just a lot of adjustment.
You’re always under the Radar
Airport and Security checks go hand in hand. Even if you’ve gotten your way out of the security check, you can be questioned at any given point while you’re at the airport. This is the one thing you cannot back out from. Being held up and standing like a mannequin on display, you have to be sweet until you have surpassed this phase. This lady doesn’t look quite cheerful with the security.

It might not be obvious but you’re always under someone’s radar. Be it the random security checks or surveillance cameras or fellow travelers navigating by, you are being watched. You should always be careful of what you do at the airport. Just like this lady, if you’re striking a pose, you should know this is being watched too.

When you’re ready to be on board, you must be alert always. This gorgeous lady was on her way to the flight when she clicked this. Can’t blame her, she looks beautiful so she had to spare a minute to take a selfie! Maybe she got back real quick to serving the people on board later.

Well, we totally understand her plight. When waiting at the airport can be extremely tiring, we find solace on the couch. This lady thought outside the box and got under the armrest to avoid from falling. This was quite a smart move. You can try this too if you’re the same petite as she is!

This man looks totally bizarre but we don’t blame him. Flights can be unhygienic, and full of germs and dust because of so many travelers being on board every day. This is a major concern for a lot of people but this man took it a little far. He has not left a single chance of getting in touch with anything dirty and has blocked out all possible smells. His fellow passengers would have been so awkward but he is proud of embracing his OCD.
Travel with a typewriter, maybe?
Yes, you saw that right. These two people are strangers but have one thing in common – their typewriter. With big companies like Apple focussing on inducing lightweight laptops and iPads in the market, these two are from a parallel universe. they were spotted at the Seattle airport weeks apart working on their typewriters. They surely raised some eyebrows when they surpassed the security check.

Taking inspiration from our very own movies, this man definitely made some directors proud. He proposed to his lady love right after she came back from a trip. He was there to pick her up and gifter her his proposal instead! The people in the backdrop couldn’t control their excitement too! What a sweet gesture.
Annoying Slow walkers
This not-so-graceful old grandmother didn’t let anyone pass her way while she was there. Isn’t that annoying? With due respect, we know she’s old but she could have stepped aside and let the others pass. People who walk slowly at the airport and cause a delay in other people’s plans are the most hated ones.

Looks like this nun had to undergo a lot of trouble during her security check. She was checked thoroughly by the woman on duty to filter weapons or chemicals that are prohibited. But she doesn’t look suspicious to us. Maybe she was on her way to her pilgrimage and got stuck for no reason at all. A bad day for her!
Unusual Bans
A lot of things that are banned on a flight are justified because they might be harmful on the journey. But we have experienced some bans that were not justified. Bangkok, for example, banned Thai and Malaysian native fruit Durians because they smell awful. Even when TSA was the grinch during the holiday season, snow globes were banned on the flight. Sd, right?

This life-size face-cut cardboard of a man without his body is just so funny. The family planned a humorous welcome for him and we are sure he was embarrassed to the core. What a shocking surprise it would have been when he saw it. This is surely one of the most humorous welcome-back signs we have ever spotted.

Looks like her man is obsessed with selfies. He might be the kind who is a big photo enthusiast and clicks pictures of literally everything. But she isn’t very happy about it. All those food pictures, outing captures, and airport looks ended up in your break up man. Not cool Simon.

The majority of the airports do not support pet travel and this can be disheartening for the owner. They are like family and leaving them behind is a major guilt trip. But thanks to the San Diego airport authorities, they have built a special area for pets called “pet relief” and this is such a blessing in disguise. You can wait there with your pet without troubling any other travelers too. What a great initiative.
Flying in a cockpit?
Is the pilot really sitting there? Whether it was for a picture or some stunt, she should be the most careful one while air travel. Doing such an act just scares the travelers and it can be difficult for them to trust her. Maybe she did it before anyone arrived and then went back to her cockpit. Still, this wasn’t a very pleasing idea.

Because our bodies are in a stationary position throughout the journey, it is recommended to walk around on a plane for a few minutes to keep that blood circulation going. We have seen people walk at the airport for hours to follow their regime. But this yoga enthusiast couldn’t wait any longer. He started doing his exercise in the middle of the seating area and doesn’t care a bit!

He made sure he never forgets what his luggage looks like – which most of us forget when we go back to collect our bags, isn’t it? When a Star wars movie releases, fans go crazy. This was one iconic moment captured at the airport when Darth Vader arrived at the Denver airport. The die-hard fans matched their outfits and greeted him by playing the Imperial March when he arrived! Everyone applauded this unseen occasion.

You all have seen these shoe-shining corners at the airport but haven’t gotten a chance to go there right? But these two men dressed as aliens definitely had the time to sit and relax for a bit. Maybe their space mission had some time left so they decided to chill for some time.

Again, traveling and waiting at the airport can be very exhausting. Moreover, with so much crowd hovering around the place, it becomes difficult to find a place to sit also, especially when you’re not alone. We understand they wanted to do something embarrassing for her but this one went a little overboard. When she walked out of the gates, she changed her path looking at this sign pretending to not know them.

We found this just so sweet! The new mom made such a heartwarming sign for her husband to welcome him home to her mini version. She made a witty remark about herself that she has gained weight but her mini-me is waiting for her daddy. This is so overwhelming!

This long sign at a Chinese airport describes the plight of every person who’s been here. They have left no stone unturned to tell you accurately how much you have to wait in line for the loo. They probably have too much going on at the airport and decided to place waiting chairs for everyone in the queue. we suggest constructing more washrooms than these signs.

This little girl wanted to welcome her grandparents at the airport and so, she wanted to make a sign herself. As cute as she is, the sign is completely illegible. But it’s her love and affection that matter the most! This warm gesture of hers surely made some eyes drip.

This is unbelievable. A Saudi prince used his status to take all his falcons on a flight with him. We know this wouldn’t have been allowed if it was for anyone else. He paid for 80 falcons and they surely seem to enjoy their ride around the United Arab Emirates.

Airports that are used to extreme temperatures encounter such sights quite frequently, surprisingly! This polar bear was spotted on the runway at an Alaskan airport which is home to bears in abundance. Those who were present at that time definitely enjoyed this sight. It can be scary though, after all, it’s an animal!
Could have been better
This sign is the last thing a man would expect from his wife. She could have done so much better with the sign to make it more loving or motivating. But she chose this. Kind of absurd, but what do we know, love knows no boundaries, love judges no one!

This is not a welcome sign! This is an invitation from a cab driver asking for a spare citizen to travel in his taxi. The first name is Alice – the person he is supposed to pick up and next is just a random person he is looking for! After all, the man has to make money.
I Live in a Box
This happened on an airport where these people were trying to go back to their home in Asia but due to bad flying conditions, they were stuck at the airport for days. This made them workout things in the best way the could. Despite being cardboard box beds, they turned out to be quite resourceful for them.
Not-so Reassuring
This is a real picture of the Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow. As soon as you take off, you are greeted by the remains of Dagestan Airlines Flight 37. The plan had an engine failure when it crashed and was parted into three pieces. The plane is still used for pilot’s trials.
Charging my Idea
Long waiting hours at the airport result in draining phone battery which is the last annoying thing we want to face. Although there are charging ports here and there at the airport and we can access them but this man went a little too far. He unplugged the main charging port from where the machine was charging and plugged his phone instead. Too much impatient, right?

The famous Maho beach on Saint Martin in the Carribean is famous for his turquoise blue waters. The view is amazing and the praise doesn’t end here. You can spot some planes coming really low on one of the beaches because the runway is constructed at such a location. It can be very unsafe for the people chilling at the beach but it is still worth a selfie!

Yes, you spotted her right. It’s Candice Swanepole, the South African actress wearing shades walking in an airport. The reason for wearing shades is usually hiding one’s identity. She did the same and managed to walk through the area. but someone spotted her right then!
Red light, Green light
This runway is none other than the Gibralter International Airport where cars and planes criss-cross each other. Basically the cars are supposed to stop at the light and then the plane can pass. But this is extremely lethal and can turn out to be catastrophic. Wonder what were people thinking when this plan was passed!

Finding the right spot to take some rest at the airport is a very tough task but this man made his own creative way amidst the chaos. He chose to use his luggage as a head restand turn upside down. Surprisingly, he seems to be very comfortable. It is an extremely discomfort sight to us but he is sound asleep.

These two men here were involved in stunts and circus at the airport because they were bored. Although they entertained thee crowd around them, this could have been a disaster if the other one hadn’t paid attention.

Waiting at the airport can be so tiresome that people look for ways to entertain themselves. This girl here decided to have a ride along the luggage belt because why not! This was the best thing spotted at the airport as children are so innocent. They can be themselves everywhere!

When someone spotted a game of solitaire live on the security checker’s screen, it became a roar. People started to question their security and that was totally valid. This is not done; specially at the airports where you are responsible for everyone’s safety.

Such a rare sign spotted at St. Maarten’s Princess Juliana airport in the Carribbean. They are actually warning people to stay off the runaway in order to avoid any mishaps. The parking lot is just next to the runway which is a huge construction glitch!

Pople lie around the airport all the time. They are spotten on the couch, next to the pillars and even on the floors. But this man was lying right in the middle of the check-in queue. It got a bit awkward for people who were in line. Well, we can’t even judge the level of tiredness he had.
