You can tell a lot about a person from the kinds of movies they watch, as well as the way in which they watch them. Whether they're a purist who refuses to watch any movies in less than 4K, or the kind of person who is comfortable with watching a blockbuster on a tiny phone screen with headphones in.

These are the sort of habits that broadly divide along age lines, even if they don't always line up perfectly. However, another good indicator of age (or at least brain age) are the kinds of movies people actually watch. We've all had that one friend who is barely out of their teenage years but exclusively watches movies from the 1970s and earlier, and claims not to have any idea of what is currently playing in the cinema.
