Pick Or Pass These Classic Movies And We’ll Tell You Your Brain Age
Let Our Expert Quiz Confirm It For You
You can tell a lot about a person from the kinds of movies they watch, as well as the way in which they watch them. Whether they're a purist who refuses to watch any movies in less than 4K, or the kind of person who is comfortable with watching a blockbuster on a tiny phone screen with headphones in.
These are the sort of habits that broadly divide along age lines, even if they don't always line up perfectly. However, another good indicator of age (or at least brain age) are the kinds of movies people actually watch. We've all had that one friend who is barely out of their teenage years but exclusively watches movies from the 1970s and earlier, and claims not to have any idea of what is currently playing in the cinema. Likewise, we probably all know someone who has gained a reputation for not seeing any classic movies at all, whether it's The Shawshank Redemption, The Wizard of Oz or the entire original Star Wars trilogy.
Either way, whether you're a person who exclusively watches musicals made in the Hollywood studio system, or you could name even the most obscure characters to appear in the MCU, this quiz will guess your brain age based purely on the films you have seen and like - as well as the films you've either never heard of or just didn't enjoy.
About Go Social ▼▲
Founded in 2016, Go Social started small. Beginning as a blog posting on 80s and 90s life as well as the movies, music and television of the era, Eighties Kids has in a short space of time exploded in scope and ambition. Operating out of Eighties Kids HQ in sunny Ilkley, in the North of England, today a growing team of writers produces original content day in and day out for one of the best new nostalgia sites on the web.
With the site also growing beyond its original remit, the Go Social team now covers not just trivia from the 80s and 90s, but pop culture of all decades that’s of interest to children of the 80s, 90s and beyond. From shocking and obscure fact posts on your favourite movies and bands, to quizzes on classic TV shows and film franchises, to picture galleries on celebrities from past and present, Eighties Kids is here to take you down memory lane, test your knowledge of classic pop culture and maybe even occasionally blow your mind.
