Egyptian designer Hany El Behairy’s wedding dress, which required 800 hours to complete, premiered at Paris Haute Couture Week in 2019. The bridal garment was embroidered with hundreds of diamonds and valuable stones and cost $15 million, making it the most expensive wedding dress ever made.

The Beverly Hills designers Renee Strauss and Martin Kratz have created one of the world’s most expensive wedding dresses. The Diamond Wedding Gown costs $12 million and it features thousands of diamonds in its design. The designers say that although the price tag is high, it is worth it because of all of the work that went into creating such a beautiful gown.

Yumi Katsura White Gold Wedding Dress – $8.5 million

Designer Yumi-Katsura’s dresses are synonymous with opulence and glitz. Katsura used a variety of Japanese techniques in stitching this piece, with a combination of silk and satin. The diamond is the ultimate effect of the dress; it’s embedded on the back of the dress with two 8.8-carat diamonds and a single 5-carat diamond. At $8.5 million per dress, there are only 2 dresses in the world.

Serena Williams – $3.5 million

With a net worth of $290 million, tennis pro Serena Williams could easily afford a dress this pricey. Her 2017 wedding gown was even more stunning than expected. With a price tag of $3.5 million, Serena’s Alexander McQueen dress designed by Sarah Burton, is the costliest celebrity wedding dress in history.

Priyanka Chopra is one of the most stylish women in Hollywood. As such, it’s no surprise that when she married Nick Jonas in a lavish ceremony last year, Chopra looked absolutely stunning. But perhaps what was unexpected about her wedding dress was its price tag: a staggering $2 million. Chopra wore a custom-made Ralph Lauren gown covered in crystals that took 1,400 hours to make.

So, it’s no surprise that when she got married in 2015, she chose to wear a custom dress from Dior – not just any Dior gown, but a $1.5 million rose-hued number with a 10-foot train.

Peacock Wedding Dress – $1.5 million

When Vera Wang unveiled her $1.5 million wedding dress at a wedding expo in China in 2008, it took the internet by storm. The dress is made from more than 2,000 peacock feathers, and it took eight months to make. After the media firestorm, Vera Wang announced that she wouldn’t be producing any more dresses like it due to concerns over animal rights violations.

Victoria Swarovski – $1 million

One of the most expensive wedding dresses in the world is a custom gown by Michael Cinco that was commissioned by Victoria Swarovski, heir to the Swarovski crystal fortune. Designed for her December 2017 wedding to fiancé Richard Grossman, the gown features 500,000 crystals that weigh an estimated 100 pounds. The 26-foot train was embellished with crystals as well.

Usually, Ralph Lauren does not design wedding dresses. However, the iconic designer did design the gown that Jennifer Lopez wore for her 2022 wedding to Ben Affleck. The gown was primarily made of silk taffeta and featured an embellished 20-foot train that was handmade in Milan, Italy. The cost has been estimated at around $1 million.

In 2009, actress Salma Hayek married French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault in Venice and invited some of Hollywood’s most famous faces to join the party. The stunning bride wore a custom Balenciaga gown with a deep V-neck bodice that flowed into a full-length skirt. The dress cost $434,000.

In total, both looks cost $420,000.
