Clockwork Orange (Chase Edition) – $13,500

The most expensive Funko Pop, as of 2023, is the Chase edition of the Clockwork Orange figurine. Chase figurines are limited edition versions of characters that exist in the standard Funko Pop range, usually with slightly different colour palettes, outfits, or extra accessories. The smaller amount leads to higher demand, which in turn leads to higher prices.

Freddy Funko as Jaime Lannister – $10,000

Some Funko Pop figurines will feature the company’s mascot, Freddy Funko, dressed up as a character, rather than just depicting the character itself. These are significantly harder to find, especially the Freddy Funko as Jaime Lannister figurine, which was made specifically for the 2013 San Diego Comic Con.

Freddy Funko as Count Chocula (GITD) – $10,000

Other varieties of Funko Pop figurines include special glow-in-the-dark (GITD) characters. Aside from the fact they will light up at night, these figurines will fetch a higher price as they are often limited edition. None more so than the Freddy Funko as Count Chocula GITD figurine, which is worth a huge $10,000.

Stan Lee (superhero) – $7,500

Stan Lee was a legendary comic book writer, famous for being the man to think up many beloved Marvel superheroes, many of whom have been immortalized in the form of Funko Pop figurines. For the 2017 LA Comicbook Convention, 12 figurines depicting Stan Lee in a superhero costume were released, with such scarcity making it one of the most expensive and hard-to-find figurines in the world.

Holographic Darth Maul (GITD) – $6,600

Original Star Wars figurines and merchandise already fetch a high price, with Star Wars Funko Pops being no different. This glow-in-the-dark Darth Maul will now set you back around $6600, as its price doubled a couple of years ago. It was originally released at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con.

Boo Berry (GITD) – $5,550

It seems old cereal mascots make for expensive Funko Pops, with Boo Berry joining Count Chocula on the list. This glow-in-the-dark Chase edition of Boo Berry is extremely uncommon, with only 24 of its kind having been sold at the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con. This has led to a hefty secondhand price tag of $5550.

Clown Dumbo – $5,300

Clown Dumbo is another Funko Pop that was first released in limited numbers at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con. Shape-wise it is almost identical to the main line of Dumbo figurines, but it is the clown makeup that rockets up its value. The result is a sad-looking elephant that would cost you $5300 to own.

Freddy Funko as Count Chocula (metallic) – $3,750

This metallic version of Freddy Funko as Count Chocula doesn’t hold the same worth as its glow-in-the-dark counterpart, although it will still fetch a high price of $3750 secondhand. The price of this figurine has slowly increased over the years as its 480 iterations spread further around the world.

Superman (metallic) – $3,650

For a Funko Pop figurine that was originally sold in supermarkets, the metallic Superman is remarkably hard to find. It is a Chase edition, and it is metallic, which always seems to sell better than matte versions. It is the perfect way to finish off a DC Funko Pop collection, if you’re willing to set aside $3650 for it.

Hopper from Stranger Things (gold) – $3,120

Even though the Stranger Things hype may have settled down in recent months, the Stranger Things branded Funko Pop figurines are still worth a small fortune. None more so than this golden Hopper, which was originally part of a batch of 40 units released in 2018.

Purple Haze (Chase edition) – $3,080

The Purple Haze Chase edition Funko Pop is truly one of a kind, with only one ever being released. It is surprising that it is not worth more, although there are other forms of Jimi Hendrix-inspired figurines out there. This iteration features Jimi’s iconic headband, as well as a shiny gold and blue jacket, and it has a secondhand value of $3080.

Dumbo (gold) – $2750

Dumbo is a popular character in the Funko Pop universe, with its Chase editions usually selling for a fair bit over the original recommended retail price. This particular metallic gold Dumbo will set you back around $2750 if you wanted to get your hands on it.

Clockwork Orange – $2580

Another popular franchise represented in the form of Funko Pop figurines is A Clockwork Orange, a movie originally released in 1971. The standard A Clockwork Orange figurines come with a staggering price tag because there were only 12 of them ever released to the public.

Ken Griffey Jr. (bronze) – $2,450

The full bronze Ken Griffey Jr. is the second baseball figurine and the most expensive sports-related Funko Pop ever made. The figurine was made as a tribute to Seattle Mariners baseballing legend Ken Griffey Jr., with only 24 being made, and all of them being sold at the Safeco Arena, home of the Mariners.

Planet Arlia Vegeta – $2,320

There have been a few Dragonball Z Funko Pops passing through the production line, but not many depict the Planet Arlia Vegeta. It is a Chase edition, which explains the rarity and the price tag, but overall, the design is not dissimilar to the standard, more common Vegeta figurines.

Loki – $2,250

The Loki Funko Pop is well known among collectors of Marvel figurines, as only 480 Thor Ragnarok versions were ever made. If you are lucky enough to find one, then it will cost you around $2250. Its scarcity means it is only going to go up in price, so it may well be a worthwhile purchase.

Headless Ned Stark – $2000

This Game of Thrones-inspired Funko Pop is a great collector’s item, as, though it may look the same as the standard Ned Stark figurine, it has a removable head. This is to commemorate the character’s gruesome death in season one of the hit TV show. Look how sad he looks!

Notorious B.I.G. – $1,960

This extremely limited edition Notorious B.I.G. Funko Pop was sold at the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con to celebrate the legendary rapper. It was part of the Funko Pop Rocks line, with only 240 of these figurines being made available, which explains its hefty secondhand price tag of $1960.

1950s Elvis (metallic) – $1,820

Another of the Funko Pop Rocks figurines is 1950s Elvis, complete with a vintage-style microphone and a metallic gold jacket. There are a handful of Elvis figurines available, he is the so-called King of Rock ‘n’ Roll after all, but the 1950s version is easily the most valuable.

Lotso (Flocked) – $1,750

This Lots-o-huggin’ Bear Funko Pop is a little different to most figurines, as it is flocked. This means that it has a furry, suede texture to it, to better depict the cuddly villain from the Toy Story movies. Only 480 were ever sold, so availability is very low, and that combined with its unique texture explains its high secondhand value.

Large Mickey Mouse (metallic) – $1,700

Funko Pops aren’t only limited to one size, as the company has previously released large figurines, which stand around two inches taller than standard-sized figurines. This metallic Mickey Mouse will make a standout addition to a Disney collection, if you can ever find one. Only 18 have ever graced the store shelves, and you’ll have to shell out $1700 to own one.

1970s Elvis – $1,610

The second most valuable Elvis Funko Pop figurine is his 1970s version. It depicts him in his trademark white jumpsuit and cape, with the artistic sequins and embroidery also being shown on the figurine. The sideburns are longer and the hair is bigger than the 1950s version, and he is instantly recognizable as Elvis.

Batman (silver) – $1,600

This chrome-looking all-silver Batman is the most sought-after Funko Pop figurine of its kind, and it’s easy to see why. It’s also one of the rarest figurines out there, with only 108 of them ever made, all of which were only available to employees at the retailer Hot Topic.

T-Bone (Chase edition) – $1,510

This Chase edition of the popular T-Bone Funko Pop features a colour change from the bull’s usual blue and yellow, changed to a pink and purple metallic colourway. The figurine features a bull holding a T-bone steak, which is a bizarre juxtaposition.

Shadow Trooper – $1,500

Another Star Wars piece that is worth a small fortune is the glossy black Shadow Trooper. Once again, its value is mostly justified by the fact that only 480 of the figurines were sold, but also because it is a great-looking, niche addition to any Star Wars Funko Pop collection. Is it worth $1500? That’s up to you.

Spongebob Squarepants (metallic) – $1,450

This shiny, metallic Spongebob Squarepants figurine was made specifically for Spongebob collectors, having been made available at the Spongebob Fan Shellabration event in 2013. It was never made available in mainstream stores, so good luck trying to find one!

Mike Wazowski (GITD) – $1,350

The glow-in-the-dark Mike Wazowski is one of the cutest looking Funko Pop figurines, replacing Wazowski’s iconic spherical body for a more Funko-style soft-edged cube look. It’s a tough one to find though, as it is another entrant into the magic 480 club, with only 480 units ever being sold.

Mr. Incredible (blue suit) – $1,300

One of the most popular Funko Pop collector’s items for Disney fans is the Mr. Incredible in a blue suit figurine. The standard edition of Mr. Incredible features him in his trademark red suit, and is commonplace in many people’s collections, which makes this blue version all the more appealing.

Batgirl (Chase edition) – $1,240

Batgirl is usually depicted on Funko Pop figurines with a light blue cape and mask. This Chase edition looks far more reminiscent of Batman, making it an interesting collector’s item. They are extremely hard to get hold of though, as only 240 of them were made.

Sulley (flocked) – $1,230

Another Disney Pixar favourite now. This time it’s the joint-main character in Monsters Inc., Sulley. This figurine is flocked, and for good reason, as Sulley is one of the fluffiest characters to ever exist in the Disney Universe. If you can find one of these, it will be a standout item in your collection, but it will also cost you $1230.

Bone Daddy (GITD) – $1,230

This Bone Daddy Funko Pop is full of novelty, being both a Chase edition and a glow-in-the-dark figurine. The usual Bone Daddy wears a purple suit, which has been replaced with a red suit colourway. The glow-in-the-dark aspect looks great as well, as you will be able to see the figurine’s gaunt figure perfectly even with the lights off.

Chewbacca (flocked) – $1,220

This cute, flocked Chewbacca Funko Pop is one of the standout items in the Star Wars collection. Obviously, Chewbacca is already cute, but he looks even sweeter here, showing a little glimpse of his teeny teeth. If you want one, they’re not easy to find, being another member of the 480 club.

Big Boy – $1,170

This is another collaboration between Funko Pop and a food brand, this time being Big Boy Burger. The figurine features the classic mascot’s outfit, with a checkered apron and swoopy, quiffed hair. It’s a 480 club member, so it won’t be easy to find, but it would make a nice addition to anyone’s collection, especially if you have $1170 to play with.

Green Lantern (GITD) – $1,150

The Green Lantern movie went down as a major flop and has become one of the movies that lowered the reputation of both the DC Universe and Ryan Reynolds. It did, however, spawn the glow-in-the-dark Green Lantern Funko Pop figurine, which sells for a whopping $1150 and is pretty popular.

Buzz Lightyear with Zurg (GITD) – $1,140

Not only is this Buzz Lightyear Funko glow-in-the-dark, but he comes with another character, and there were only 150 of this figurine ever made. This makes it surprising that it’s only $1140 secondhand, which is downright cheap when compared to some of the other figurines in this list.

Large Sulley and Boo – $1,080

This is another two-for-the-price-of-one Funko Pop figurine. It comes with a large, six-inch tall Sulley, and a small Boo, making for one of the cutest Funko Pop pieces available. It is a must-have addition to any Disney/Funko Pop fan’s collection, even if it has the eye-watering price of $1080.

Oogie Boogie (GITD) – $1000

The Oogie Boogie – from The Night Before Christmas – Funko Pop looks unlike any other figurine in the collection, with an irregularly shaped body making it a great collector’s item. It also glows in the dark across its whole body, giving it the ability to light up an entire room.

Skeletor (Chase) – $990

This Skeletor figurine is slightly different to the usual Skeletor sold in Funko Pop’s main line. It features a black hood instead of the usual purple, and a metallic black, gold, and purple body, instead of the usual blue and purple body of the standard edition.

Wonder Woman (black and white) – $970

This special edition black and white Wonder Woman figurine looks like something out of a 1950s television. The monochrome colouring is really unique and will make an interesting addition to a superhero collection that is usually awash with colour. Given how eye-catching it is, it makes sense that people are willing to shell out almost a thousand dollars to take this figurine home.

Winnie the Pooh (flocked) – $900

The flocked Winnie the Pooh Funko Pop is up towards the top of the list of cutest figurines that the company has to offer. He has his trademark red t-shirt on and, of course, is holding his pot of honey. Essentially, this figurine is a must-have for any Winnie the Pooh fan or memorabilia collector.
