‘Let he who is without sin cast the first stone’… Or, if you’re not too religious, how about ‘people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones’? No, I’m not some crazy person who’s obsessed with quotes involving stones, what I’m trying to say is, nobody is perfect, so stop judging people, a*shole.

D*mn… that felt good to say.

ANYWAY, I’m here to talk about one of the worst kinds of judging out there; mommy-shaming. And the worst of the worst kind of mommy-shaming? When women judge other women for how exactly they gave birth (yeah… you know who you are.)

But apparently for one woman in particular, a so-called friend of hers didn’t seem to get that memo at all. The new mom recently shared on Mumsnet just how LOW someone went when she had the audacity to tell her that she hadn’t “given birth properly”  (whatever the hell THAT means) and that she only thought she knew what it was like to give birth… all because the mom in question had had a C-section instead of having a “vaginal delivery”.

According to the mom, she recently met up with a friend who felt that she had only “done the easy bit” by having a C-section.

Now… if that was me, I would have stood up, thrown a drink in that “friends” face, and sauntered off with my head held high.

In her post, this mom of a now 5-month-old boy wrote that for the most part, she doesn’t even like to talk about her own birth experience. However, when she met up with some friends, they asked her about it and so she decided to tell them her story.
