Tori Jenkins from Tennessee was at the pool in her apartment complex on a 90-degree day, where she was told that she must ‘cover up’ or change her outfit or she would have to leave the area due to her one-piece suit being too ‘inappropriate’!

Speaking to BuzzFeed News, Tori recounted how she was sat by the pool when a leasing consultant approached her:

“[The Consultant] tried to convince me a few times to let her take pictures of my butt to show how ‘inappropriate’ it was […] Told me that if I didn’t have kids I wouldn’t understand how it wasn’t right to be out in public in that, and that she wouldn’t want her own kids around me.”

Tori also said that the consultant told her that her outfit would ‘excite’ teenage boys in the area, which is freakin’ unbelievable!

“I was point-blank told that my comfortability at a pool that I paid to use was less important than a teenage boy being able to control himself […] It perpetuates the idea that how a man feels around a woman is more important than how a woman feels around herself.” – Tori.

This is a truly horrible example of a woman being forced to live her life as dictated to her by the wants and needs of a male-orientated society! She’s wearing a swim-suit at a swimming pool… it’s not a freakin’ crime!

The consultants and managers of the apartment block, known as Smoky Crossing, ought to be ashamed of themselves for targeting a woman such as Tori who is doing nothing wrong!

Talking to Inside Edition, Tori also explained that she thinks her ‘curves’ may have been an attributing factor for the attack:

“I was sitting next to a girl in a strapless bikini […] she was smaller than me, it wasn’t an issue obviously [that she] shows a lot more skin”.
