Last July, Tess Thompson Talley received widespread media attention for posting photos of her laughing with the corpse of a rare black giraffe she heartlessly shot for fun - and now she's returned to the spotlight to defend her position and claim that the animal was 'delicious!'

The 38-year-old woman from Odessa, Texas became the center of a media firestorm when she posted the above photo to Facebook back in July 2018.
She also shared a variety of other photos showing her posing with the rare creature in several different poses - all of which do in fact make her look like a hyena, with just as scraggly hair.
Thompson has rocketed herself back into the public eye by defending her photos in the most heartless, and factually incorrect way possible.
'They [animals] are put there for us, we harvest them, we eat them!'
And, when asked specifically about the black giraffe which sparked her initial rise to infamy, she simply laughed, 'He was delicious!'
Thompson, in a segment filmed by CBS in Thompson's house, also paraded the things that she had had made with some of the giraffe's skin including a giraffe skin gun bag, and 'decorative pillows'.
When most of the confusion came, however, was when Thompson claimed that her hunting was aiding conservation:
'We are preserving... we are managing herds, we're managing numbers of wildlife [...] I am proud to be a hunter, and I'm proud to hunt, and I am proud of [killing] that giraffe'.
It is sad that people like this can act in the way they do without any allowance for logic, care, or sense. There is little to no hope for animal populations if humans continue to act in the way we currently do.
Africa Digest shared this irate tweet in an attempt to spread awareness about the need for Africa's governing bodies to make and implement laws preventing this sort of trophy hunting happening in the future.
Thompson's photo's also incurred responses from several celebrities including the likes of comedian and animal rights advocate Ricky Gervais who tweeted, 'What's 16 feet tall and has a c*** on the back of its neck?' upon seeing the photos.
Gervais also tweeted a response to Thompson's claims that the killings were a form of euthanasia. He made the point, 'Imagine a vet paying you to put down your dog and then taking a selfie next to the corpse.' He then went on to say:
'I'm sick of Trophy Hunters trying to excuse their grim sport by saying they provide a service. They exploit the needs of the poor.'
This woman is so freakin' deluded and sick, it makes my stomach turn to even look at her. She views animals as simply there for our amusement instead of understanding that a balanced ecosystem is the only way for the world to work. It's a disgusting attitude and teaches a dangerous lesson to future generations.
